With a growing population, Gold medal brown bears are a real possibility and this hunt has an unheard-of success rate of 90%! The trophies earned in recent years prove the exceptional quality of these bears, with fur quality values often surpassing 300 CIC points.  

Croatia is also officially recognized by CITES, and for that reason exporting your trophy is no hassle.

Brown bear hunts in Croatia are done either during the spring (15 March - 01 May) or autumn (15 October to 1 December) from tall, closed and comfortable “high seats” over bait. Bears regularly come to feed on carcasses, so the success of this hunt is almost guaranteed.

Spot-and-stalk hunting isn’t as successful as hunting bears over bait, so we highly recommend being patient and sitting it out. 

Croatia is EU member, and offers some great tourism on the coast and some excellent hunting combo possibilities. If you get your bear early you can combo with mouflon sheep in a nearby area on coastline near historical town of Senj.

THE GUIDES

Guiding is one-on-one. They use high-end spotting scopes and binoculars, (rifles are available to rent). Once an animal is taken, a call is made and men come out with a stretcher to pack the animal back to the lodge for gutting and capping.

There are no language issues at all. The guides and the outfitter speaks perfect English. 

LODGING

This hunt is out of a hotel Libra in Senj as there is no luxury lodge nearby.     


TRAVEL

Travelling to Croatia is Easy. You will fly to Zagreb, airport. Once you’re there the outfitter will pick you up. 1h 45 min is airport transfer from Zagreb to 4* hotel Libra in Senj or if we go straight to evening/night bear hunt to hunting areas nerd Gospic it will be 1h 15 min from Zgreb. 

PACKAGE PRICE – 9800 GBP 3-day hunting, 4 nights for gold medal bear from 300 to 550 points CIC  (weight between 200-320 kg). In case of unsuccessful hunting you will pay only fix price for all hunting service and accommodation & food, transportation, guides of 2800 GBP with full refund of deposed being paid back in cash.  Gold medal head deposits of 50% are 3500 GBP based on fix trophy fee for gold medal bear of 7000 GBP.

    I have shot with Lasarotta Ltd for the last three seasons, sometimes firing 20 shots per day, these pigs are fast and very cunning. There are some easy shots and a lot of close contact shooting, one can hear a sounding of pigs a few yards away and never see one. There are guns that consistently shoot a lot of pigs, they have the right equipment and know how to use it, other guns seem to hit a lot of trees or get over excited. We shoot over all types of cover, from open hilly beech forests too marshy scrub where the pigs clear flooded ditches in one bound, can’t wait till the next season.

    My first ever wild boar was a big animal 17.5cm tusks taken with Lasarotta in Serbia made a grand Trophy Head. I shoot two good boar in Croatia. It was the first class driven wild boar trip. I was really impressed with first two trips so I have booked again for November. Hope to be lucky again.

    As a fairly novice driven boar hunter, but very experienced stalker and all round shooter, I enjoyed my first trip to Croatia as much as any. Lasarotta put on three days of amazing driven boar shooting for our team. As per the norm, it is not usual to get both quality and quantity, but personally I'd much rather shoot a good, wild pig in Croatia than several fenced in pigs in Germany! Our group bagged 27No. boar during the trip, 2No. of which were to my rifle, including a 180kg bronze medal Keiler with my first ever shot at a boar. Naturally I was delighted with this and my sincere thanks go to Lasarotta's organiser, Bogdan, and all the people in Croatia who made this possible.

    Well organised trip for my husband's 50th birthday boar shooting party.

    I would personaly recomend Lasarotta boar shooting in Serbia in Karakusa Estate to everyone that looks for detailed organised trip and plenty of challenging targets. Our group of 12 got 76 wild boar 🐗 over 3 driven days. The lodge is right in the middle of very old oak forests not far away from the river Sava.
